177 – Side Story – Busy Daily Life (1)

Since the addition of a new family member named Maru, the already quiet household has become even more noisy.

Another half year passed, and as the children’s first birthday approached, Seol-ah and Seol-ha were able to walk.

By the way, among these four, the hierarchy seems to be that Seol-ha is the highest, followed by Seol-a, then Cheese, and the last one is Maru.

That’s understandable, because when Seol-ha grabs a toy and shouts, “Let’s play together!”, the other three run over and cling to him. I think he’ll probably take after his mother and become quite popular later on.

And Seol-ah and Seol-ha have similar hierarchy, but rather than feeling like she leads the people around her, she’s more of the type who quietly plays by herself and someone comes to her. In that sense, Seol-ah might resemble me.

I turned my head at the sudden shouting from Yuna, and as expected, I saw Cheese running towards Maru and playing pranks despite my warning.

In fact, the relationship between Cheese and Maru is a bit ambiguous. They don’t really fight or bicker with each other, and they are very close, but Cheese seems to be implicitly higher in the hierarchy.

Sometimes, when Maru is sleeping or lying on the sofa exhausted from playing with the kids, Cheese climbs on top of him and controls him like a summoned beast, and I can feel it clearly.

Yuna, who had come up to her side, happily watched Seol-ha, who was walking around and shaking her toy, and nodded at what she had said.

Maybe because she’s not used to walking, she sometimes crawls again when she feels like her stamina is low, but she’s gotten pretty good at walking. Seol-ah is the same.

In fact, Seol-ah was a little slower at walking than her brother, but at some point, she started walking like her brother.

Although I’m not sure, I think it might have been because I was influenced or motivated to walk after seeing my brother do it first, just like when he first got up.
