From Space Idiot to Professor - From Space Idiot to Professor chapter 18
18 – Written Exam (3)
Idel solved the problem with both hands.
It was so fast that it was hard to believe it was a human being. It was moving so fast that the crunching sound tickled Zernia’s ears.
‘Ah, sir.’
Zernya suddenly turned her head and almost dropped her pen.
‘What is that guy really doing…? ?’
My concentration was broken. When she comes out of her immersion state, all she can see is a white test paper and black writing.
Zernya tried to pull herself together.
She wasn’t doing well.
Idel’s aggro was top notch. Even if she didn’t like it, she couldn’t help but keep looking at it once she saw it.
Idel did not stop at simply using both hands. He crossed his arms into an X. So he unwrapped the right test paper with his left hand and the left test paper with his right hand.
It was a skillful stunt like a veteran circus member. He solved the problem quickly and made fun of it. Zernia’s mentality was also played to.
Zernia was so dumbfounded that she burst out laughing. She opened her eyes wide. I turned her head as far as I could and put her head down on her exam paper.
She collected her mind and focused on the problem. The blurred formula begins to appear again. Zernya had been practicing how to maintain her focus even in situations like this. She soon regained her composure.
Deng, Deng, Deeng-.
The bell rang, signaling the end of the exam. Kendra, who was looking blankly at Idel, stood up, wiping the drool with the sleeve of her dress.
“Stop! “Put down your pen!”
Zernia finally faced Eidel. He was moving his arms vigorously until just before the bell rang.
Could it be that even with that much momentum, they couldn’t solve it all?
Or was it because I was a meticulous person, so I checked until the end?
No one, including Zernia, could know. One thing is certain: Idel is a stronger enemy than you can imagine.
‘Well, I guess I’ll come in first place.’
As soon as the morning exam was over, the students dispersed. It was for eating. The given time is one hour.
Idel’s gaze passed Zernya and headed to the row behind her. Rustilla and Seti were talking there.
The next moment, Rustilla and Eidel’s eyes met. Lu Stilla gently waved her hand with her tired eyes.
‘Are you dating even before you passed the exam? ‘How are you?’
Zernya clicked her tongue.
Love is something that only lowly lovers do.
In particular, a test taker’s love life is no different from a poisoned chalice. It may shine brightly on the outside, but in reality, it is just one of the many factors that impede passing the exam.
But Zernia was hardly convinced. The child in front of her, Del, seemed to be sticking together for some reason. There was still insufficient information. Anyway, his writing skills are excellent.
“Sister, what’s wrong?”
Asked Cetti, noticing that Lou Stilla was waving her hand. Her head tilted back. Lu Stilla waved her hands, saying she was nothing.
‘Thank you last time.’
Actually, Rustilla wanted to convey those words.
Lu Stilla recalled what happened to her a month ago. She went to the Rhineland family, did her home study, and by chance, Idel found out about it.
There was a storm, but in the end, he was a good person. It’s just that the foreign media is obsessed with it, so it’s gradually being engulfed in madness.
Wasn’t it the same a little while ago?
People cannot solve problems using both hands at the same time. It is like a computer capable of parallel computation. Since humans cannot be like machines, it is clear that the foreign media classified as ‘Maxwell’s Army’ has eroded their brains.
‘I have to save it someday.’
It was a moment when one more reason why Rustilla had to pass Stellarium was added.
“Whoa.”
However, contrary to that, her handwriting skills were not that good.
“Did you do well in Korean math?”
Seti asked.
“No.”
Lou Stilla shook her head.
“I heard the supervisor put down toilet paper in her sister’s seat earlier.”
“Something… “I feel like I ruined it.”
Like other students, Lou Stilla really wanted to get accepted to Stellarium. If she passes, she will be able to go to school every morning just by rolling over.
However, despite her efforts, she seemed to have died from the morning exam. As she was solving the Korean language passage, her eyes began to spin. Maybe that’s why she cried.
But Rustilla found out about Seti’s next words.
“Now that I think about it, such a story appeared in literature today. “The story of soldiers buying time to evacuate citizens from a planet that is about to erode.”
“… Ah.”
She wondered why she really cried.
“It was so sad. Honestly, if I were Merilda, I would jump out there. “How did she not lose the will to fight even though her limbs were torn off by monsters?”
“… “That way she could have saved the citizens.”
“I respected that. Of course, it’s a novel. “I wonder how many soldiers will be like that when war actually breaks out.”
Lu Stilla nodded her head.
That’s right.
When she thought about it again, she cried after reading it.
Because the main character in that passage was exactly the soldier she wanted to be. Because she was the future she wanted to be. Even though she was defeated by adversity, she did not give in to foreign media until the end.
Looking at her brightly burning appearance, she felt both sadness and respect. Even Rustilla wanted to be that kind of soldier. She wanted to be on the front lines, she would slaughter monsters, she would be a soldier protecting this beautiful galaxy of ours.
It is still a long way off.
This is a story that is difficult to achieve.
That’s why I have no choice but to come to Stellarium.
As long as she is accepted to this academy, her father and mother have placed a condition that they will no longer interfere with her.
‘It has to stick.’
Lou Stilla clenched her fists.
She had lunch with Seti and chatted for the first time in a while. At this time, even her androids watching over her did not tell her what to do. On a special day, I felt freedom for the first time in a while.
Rustilla finished the afternoon exam, hoping that such freedom would continue until the end.
***
The afternoon exam was easier than the morning.
However, the time attack trend did not disappear. As it was part of the research area of the CSAT, the time pressure was severe.
Because of this, I had to go beyond dual core and achieve triple core. This was the process of becoming a Bitcoin miner myself.
“Wow.”
Her neck was sore from having her head buried for over two hours. I put down the third pen that I had rolled up and fastened to my headband.
I heard a rustling noise coming from around me. Kendra, the supervisor, couldn’t take her eyes off me.
“Student….”
“Yes?”
“Oh, it’s nothing. Well, there was no rule that said you couldn’t solve problems with a pen in your headband… ….”
She smiled, took her exam paper, and left. It looks like he’s in a hurry to go to the bathroom as he’s rushing out.
“Whoa.”
Anyway, the writing is finished.
There are practical tests and interviews still to come, but that is a matter for me to decide tomorrow. Today, I plan to grab my sword a few times and rest calmly.
[─ The ‘God of Wisdom and Curiosity’ is looking forward to seeing how you perform brilliantly in the practical evaluation.]
“Tsk.”
As I was clicking my tongue while looking at the message posted by the foreign media, someone approached me. Silver-white hair. It was Zernia.
“You are a different species.”
She just said those words and was the first to leave.
Afterwards, another white hair came in front of me. This time it’s a familiar face. Seti looked up at me and sighed.
“Are you here to do entertainment?”
“What?”
I don’t understand. I tilted my head. Seti said questioningly, widening her eyes.
“Didn’t you hear what the supervisor said earlier this morning? The entrance exam here is no joke. I told you to do your best to solve it. But what do you mean by that? Stick a pencil in your head and loosen it? “Aren’t you a total idiot?”
“Because only then could I write the full solution.”
“Do you think other people solve things with one hand because they only have one hand? There are so many different things. I lost my concentration because of you. “I almost got into big trouble.”
“No, Mr. “It’s unfair.”
If I had solved it by simply writing down the answer, one hand would have been enough. However, if you want to go beyond a high written score and aim for a perfect score or ‘better’, you cannot use one hand. It’s basically that kind of test. A test where getting a perfect score is like picking a star in the sky.
In other words, there was another reason why I cast the Samdo style.
Of course, if I tried to tell this to Seti, I would just hear people say things like, ‘What an idiot.’ Since I couldn’t make an excuse, I just sighed and walked away.
“Let’s go, sister.”
“So even if you don’t need to call me sister….”
“Even if you were born early, your birth year is different, right? So, you are my sister.”
“Then Seti calls this person oppa too?”
Seti made a dumbfounded expression.
“Oh wow.”
Seti was nauseated and urged Rustilla to leave quickly. But Lou Stilla rarely lost her footing. She looked at me intently and said.
“… Did you say Eidel?”
Instead of answering, she nodded.
“Others don’t know, but I know.”
“…… ?”
“So cheer up.”
Lu Stilla then took her steps. She smiled brightly. It was a warm smile, as if the goddess of philanthropy had appeared.
I was dumbfounded for a moment after hearing something I had never expected. So I reflexively said this.
“You too, cheer up.”
Seti’s expression became stupid again.
***
Kendra came into the headquarters of the Anti-Affairs Command with the recovered answer sheets. She was panting for her breath. Her fellow teacher, Karlen, asked indifferently.
“What’s going on?”
“Hey, hey. “I just saw a big deal.”
“What incident?”
Kendra, who was very stubborn, could not bear it. She hastily pulled out three answer sheets. The following names were written on the first page of each test paper:
[Zernia von und zu Trisha Adelbein]
[Seti von Adelbein Rhineland]
[Eidel von Rhineland]
“The lineup is crazy.”
Carlen burst into laughter out of embarrassment.
“Isn’t the final score of more than two people where you took the test this time?”
“That’s what I think.”
From noble mtl dot com
“Huh? But the last one, isn’t it him?”
Kendra also knew what Karen was talking about.
Eidel von Rhineland. A cosmic idiot and a Rhineland bastard. When the rumor that he was applying to Stellarium turned out to be true, the examination headquarters was in an uproar for a while.
“When I looked at his academic record, I saw that he had missed all but the minimum number of middle school courses. First of all, I think I need to score the basic documents. And that alone is enough to get you out. So don’t worry about passing just in case.”
“No, that’s not the problem now…” .”
Kendra trailed off her words.
I was so curious that I couldn’t bear it.
What will Idel’s test score be?
‘I’ve never seen a crazy guy use both his hands to solve something. Even the pool was clean…. Hey, I don’t know.’
She went to her grading room and threw Idel’s test paper as food for the AI analyzer. The analyzer ate the test paper and gave me a multiple-choice answer sheet.
Korean multiple choice score perfect score.
Full score in math multiple choice.
Etc., Perfect score.
“Crazy.”
After the multiple choice type, there was subjective type and essay type. In the subjective form, the answer comes out quickly when you run the machine, but it is not an essay type. Kendra walked past her first grading room and into the second grading room where only essay writing was graded.
This was a place of meeting and harmony(?) Where 1,200 faculty members and 300 professors constantly met from the day the written exam ended.
Kendra sat down holding the essay writing scorecard.
“Ah….”
“What’s wrong?”
“This, this…” .”
Kendra, who was about to touch the physics essay type, looked behind her and asked for her support.
“Please bring Professor Feynman to the physics department.”
