Genius Manager Who Hears Voices - Chapter 91
Only Noblemtl
Episode 91
A man and a woman showed the same surprised reaction in front of a scratched sports car.
The reason for this was that the owner of the vegetable garden was Heeseong, and Heeseong knew that she was currently in Korea.
Heeseong asked Chae So-won, half in surprise and half in joy.
“When did you come to Korea? I don’t think I heard you came back.”
“Oh, it’s been quite a while since I came here. I’ve been busy preparing for a job and such since I came here, so I’ve barely been able to go home.”
“Employment? So you’re going to work in Korea now? You completely upset my parents by telling them that you were going to live abroad. And Mrs. Mija would come to our house and cry and make a fuss every day… … .”
“Hey, what are you talking about right away? Phew, let’s talk about that later. Is this your car? That red sports car?”
Heeseong nodded his head, looking at his car that was scratched painfully.
“Yeah, it’s mine. How did the car end up like this… … .”
“Ha, I’m really sorry, Heesung. I had a consultation appointment and was in a hurry to park, so I only looked at one side and just put the car in… … I called right away, but you didn’t answer the phone. So I couldn’t do anything.”
“A phone call? Oh, so that was you, the one who kept calling from an unknown number? I don’t really pick up calls from unknown numbers these days.”
“Yeah. I had to contact them to take action, whether it was calling the insurance or something, but I’ve been unable to do anything for 20 minutes. It’s a good thing you came now.”
It was a very expensive car, so my heart ached, but I couldn’t say anything since I knew that the person involved in the accident was Chae So-won.
Because I have been close to the vegetable garden since I was little, almost like relatives.
Heeseong shrugged slightly, rubbing his chin.
“Go and take care of business, Sister. I’ll take care of this myself.”
The vegetable garden opened its eyes wide and asked what he was talking about.
“What are you talking about? I caused an accident, so why are you fixing it? Of course I should be the one taking care of it, even if it means filing an insurance claim.”
“Looking at it, it looks like you just got your car, but if you file an insurance claim, the premium will go up. Since it’s an imported car, the premium will be high. Since it doesn’t seem like it’s worth changing the door anyway, I’ll take care of it myself. Buy me a meal later.”
“How much does this kid pay for a meal… … Don’t do that, it doesn’t cost a penny or two.”
“You can think of it as Hee-won’s private tutoring fee. Thanks to Hee-won’s tutoring, you’re now attending a good university. Then, wouldn’t it be easy to dismiss it?”
“That’s because Heewon worked hard and did well. And I heard from his mom that Heewon got lucky. What the… … .”
“Ahem, that was because of other circumstances. Anyway, let’s just handle it like that, okay?”
Of course, there were things I could handle without a big crowd, but I was grateful to the vegetable garden for many things, so I wanted to repay that debt.
Chae Soo-won was like a daughter who is often mentioned as a good daughter.
She is the eldest daughter of her mother’s best friend, Ms. Mija, who still lives in the same neighborhood, and has been a renowned academic genius in the neighborhood since she was young.
Throughout middle and high school, I almost never missed out on being first or class president, and of course, I was able to get into S University, the best university in South Korea, with excellent grades.
It was something that everyone expected, as there was no puberty, no delinquency, no wandering, no accident on the way there.
Even while studying on his own, he took good care of his younger brother, Hee-won, so not only Hee-sung but also Hee-sung’s family was always grateful.
Considering Heeseong’s circumstances at the time, one-on-one tutoring was something they couldn’t even dream of.
Hee-sung took out his phone, saved Chae So-won’s number, and said.
“You said you had an appointment earlier? It must be very late already, so hurry up and go. I saved your number, so let’s call each other later and have a meal together. But it’s been years since I’ve seen you.”
“Ah… … I don’t know if this is okay.”
“I told you it’s okay. I’m going to get you an expensive meal, so make sure you bring your card. Don’t tell me you forgot your wallet when you get there.”
“Hey! What do you think of people? Okay. Well, I’m in a hurry right now, so I’ll finish the consultation and contact you right away. You’re in Seoul too, right?”
“Okay. When you’re done with your work and have some free time, contact me. I’ll be waiting.”
“Okay, Heesung. Thank you! Then I’ll contact you right away. See you then!”
“okay.”
Chae So-won keeps telling Hee-sung how thankful she is and runs away, her high heels making a loud noise.
Heeseong also glanced at her, then bent down and swept the car with the palm of his hand.
“What? It just gets erased? If I apply some product, I think I can get rid of it without leaving a big mark.”
I thought it was a scratch, but surprisingly, when I rubbed it with my palm, a significant portion of it was erased.
I thought that since it was an anti-door ding sticker, I could just reattach it and it would be surprisingly easy to repair.
Then suddenly, someone from behind tapped Heeseong on the back while breathing heavily.
“Hey, Heesung!”
“Huh? What? You didn’t go?”
“Why don’t you come with me and wait a bit? I only have one appointment today anyway, so I think I can leave work right after it’s over. If you don’t have any plans after that, how about we wait a bit and then have dinner together?”
“Getting off work? What… …. Sister, didn’t you say you were going to get some advice?”
“It’s not me who receives, it’s me who gives. I’m a psychiatrist. The building in front of me is the hospital.”
Hee-sung’s eyes rolled quickly at the mention of psychiatrist.
Because I suddenly remembered her graduation from medical school, which I had completely forgotten about.
“Then could it be that the advice my older sister spoke of was…?”
“Yeah, that’s it. So you thought I was going to get some kind of treatment? Phew.”
It’s been a few years since I last saw her, and she’s gotten a lot prettier since I last saw her, so it’s true that I had that slight misunderstanding.
Well, these days, procedures are recognized for the sincerity of those who manage them well.
The gardener glanced at his watch and asked again.
“Are you okay? Call?”
“Okay, call.”

“Wow… … What kind of hospital is this fancy? If it didn’t say hospital, I would have thought it was just a hotel.”
Heeseong kept exclaiming in admiration as he entered Chae So-won’s room after finishing his consultation.
A vegetable gardener dressed in a white gown typed on the keyboard and chuckled.
“This is literally a place to heal the spirits of wounded people. It has to feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Even during counseling, it doesn’t feel like a hospital.”
“Right. I heard that the name has changed recently because people have a negative view of mental hospitals, right?”
“Yes, to the Department of Psychiatry. The director here was my senior from college, and he’s a really sincere person in that field. I heard he spent a lot of time and money building this hospital to create an image where patients would feel comfortable coming. He’s a great person.”
Heeseong couldn’t help but nod at those words.
Usually, people who are mentally ill or have problems tend to avoid the idea of ’psychiatric treatment’ because they feel uncomfortable with it, but I thought it would be worth a visit at least once.
It was definitely an interior atmosphere that showed an effort to break away from the existing image of the word.
“By the way, I had no idea that you were majoring in this field. Were you interested in it since you were in school?”
At Heeseong’s question, Chae So-won took her hands off the keyboard and shook her head slightly.
“Not at all. I just went to college based on my grades, and when I decided on my major, I didn’t really think much about it. I thought I could never do surgery and all that, so I chose this path.”
“But you said you were going to beat up your sister in the middle of it all. You said you wanted to just settle down after going on a trip abroad. Do you know that’s why Aunt Mija was crying and causing a scene?”
“That story again?” Chae So-won snickered.
“Oh my, it’s not like life is over, so I don’t know why you did that, Mom. There are so many jobs in the world, even if you’re not a doctor.”
“It’s not that my older sister doesn’t want to be a doctor, but that she wants to live abroad. So at most, it’ll only happen once or twice a year. And that won’t be easy.”
After graduating from medical school and passing the medical exam, Chae So-won went on a trip to Canada alone.
It was her first trip abroad and it was quite a long trip, so her family was very worried, but when she returned home safely a month later, Mrs. Mija hugged her daughter tightly.
But the first thing that Chae So-won brought up in her mother’s ear was immigration.
He said that he liked life there so much that he wanted to move abroad and settle there for the rest of his life.
Naturally, the house was turned upside down.
“It was like that back then, but when I actually went abroad and lived there, it was the same. I thought it was a place I would live my whole life, so there were more than a few things that were uncomfortable and frustrating. Still, I’m glad I realized it quickly and came back after a year. If I had changed my nationality, it would have been a headache.”
“Wow, you lived like that for a year? You lived your whole life without any accidents, but now that you’re all grown up, you’ve blown it. Your insides must have been rotten to the core for a year.”
“This is really… … . It’s been so long since I last saw you that I forgot for a moment, but you’re still acting like that? Come to work. I’ll show you how to get a headlock after a long time.”
“Haha, are you going to spread a rumor that doctors at the hospital are people-killers? Ah, if your livelihood is cut off, your mother will be upset again, so just leave it at that. From now on, you should live as a filial daughter.”
“This guy is the real deal!”
As they exchanged a few words, the two quickly recalled their old relationship and went back to their childhood.
They were playing around with each other, holding hands, putting each other in headlocks, and making small jokes.
Just then someone knocked on the vegetable garden’s door.
dripping.
“I, teacher… … oh, I’m sorry!”
The female employee quickly closed the door and turned around at the sight of the vegetable garden hugging Heeseong tightly.
He waved his hand vigorously, saying that it was not a vegetable garden.
“Oh, no. You can come in!”
“Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t know your boyfriend was here… … .”
“Boyfriend? Hahaha! What are you talking about, teacher? He’s just a neighborhood kid, I’ve known him since he was a little kid.”
At those words, Heeseong snorted as he straightened his messy hair.
“What do you mean, a runny nose? I never had a runny nose even when I was a newborn.”
“Be quiet. The adults are talking.”
“Oh my, how old am I?”
But the female employee, who had been staring intently at Heeseong’s face as he lifted his bangs and covered them, suddenly opened her eyes and mouth wide and spoke.
“Huh! Are you by any chance Mr. Jeong Hee-seong? That, star maker Mr. Jeong Hee-seong?”
“Star… … What? Isn’t the only thing he knows how to do Star Game?”
“No, that’s not it. Star Maker, Star Maker! He’s so famous, isn’t he? Oh my, wow! Can we take a picture together?”
Chae So-won looks bewildered as if she doesn’t understand what he’s saying.
That’s understandable, since she’s the type of person who has no interest in anything outside of her own work, and so she never looks up articles on the Internet.
Hee-sung turns the cell phone the nurse handed him towards the vegetable garden.
He nodded to the vegetable gardener with a very proud expression on his face as he straightened his clothes.
“Can you take a picture for me? The female employee here wants to take a picture with the nosebleeder.”
