233 – Writer’s Review
Hello, this is peppercorn jonmat, a novice writer.
To be honest, even as I write this review, it doesn’t really feel like it. It was something I had been writing almost every day since August of last year, and it had become a part of my daily life, so I felt more regret and awkwardness than feeling relieved or refreshed at finishing the story.
Is it okay to finish this like this? Shouldn’t I use more? I don’t know how many times I’ve thought that.
I think it’s because this article received so much love from readers. I liked the web novel, and I heard that Novelpia was doing a new novel challenge, so I thought I’d give it a try. This is a piece of writing that started with this thought in mind.
Then I forgot to sign up for the new work challenge, but it ranked high, which was undeserved for a novice writer, and I enjoyed writing it every day. I remember cheering when the number of comments first exceeded 100. I wrote only half of the replies hahahaha.
As I wrote like that, all kinds of things happened. I sometimes compare my work with other ranked works out of immaturity, wonder what the problem is on days when the number of views or recommendations decreases, and sometimes get excited about the income that comes in little by little. When I think about it now, it’s full of shame.
In particular, since it was a live serial where one episode was written a day without any reserve, there were many parts that were somewhat spontaneous and improvised in terms of development and foreshadowing. Another problem was that after changing the Academy tag, there was almost no talk about the Academy from the middle!
But because those things happened, I was able to reach the end, and I was able to finish it because there were readers who continued to read.
It was a long speech. I think the part that readers will be curious about is the side story.
There is a side story that I have roughly planned, but it is not that large. I think I’ll probably finish the side story within March ㅠㅠ
I first thought about the story after completion, episodes for each heroine, comedy episodes, and even another Namgoong Min story. That…… I think we need to seriously think about whether Jisoo is a heroine!
Although the spin-off is short, the planning for the next work is almost complete, so it looks like it will begin serialization as soon as the spin-off is over. Likewise (only the main character), low-power, small-haired black man? I think we’ll go for the same genre!
I learned a lot from this work.
To the readers who followed me until the end despite the shortcomings.
To readers who have reported beginners’ spelling mistakes.
To readers who pointed out strange parts in the plot or content.
To the readers who have been seriously talking about who the real estate agent is.
To the readers who sympathized with our main character, Namgoong Min.
And to the readers who read this author’s review.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude.
Thank you!
A writer who is growing despite his shortcomings.
