Monster Integration - #3604 - 3604 Powerful Enemy II
“I wanted to play with you more, but it seemed like that won’t be possible now,” it said and sighed, with a powerful bloodline energy blasted out of its body.
I watched its regretful face as it swung its saber to kill me, while I cursed the Sky Sovereigns above.
‘They just couldn’t wait for a few more seconds, are they?’ I asked angrily and looked for rescue, but no one could help me.
The only one who could help me is me.
“Fuck it!’ I cursed and pulled my strings, and immediately a shock appeared on its face.
It had been only fifty-two seconds since; I placed the string on it. It was a good thing, I didn’t act cautiously as I do and used the strings fast, without care for getting discovered.
I don’t know how long it would play around with me or if anything unpredictable happened, and it did.
The strings didn’t even cover it fully, not even to the degree that it gave confidence that I could kill it, but with that power, it didn’t leave me any choice.
If I didn’t do anything, I would be dead.
I pulled the strings with full power and immediately, its attack slowed down but not as fast as I liked.
Buzz!
Still slower than its past attacks, which was good as I moved my sword to defend. As I was doing that, I heard the familiar buzz; the Chimpman had turned into the dust and now my core had released the strengthening essence of it.
CLANNNNG!
My sword clashed against it, and I shook, before starting to take steps back uncontrollably.
It was so powerful that I had barely stopped myself from flying back.
Still, I needed to take more than a hundred steps back before I was able to stop myself, only to see it still in its place, looking at me with the same shocked expression.
“What is this move?” It asked, and I grinned while wiping away the blood off me, with the back of my hand, really slow.
“My most powerful move. Even you can’t get out of it,” I said, and the shock vanished and eyes blazed, in anger.
Seeing that, I smiled internally.
“You think these little binds could stop me?” Tigerman asked. “Yes, they could. No one in the Earth Sovereign stage could break through them,” I replied, with utter confidence, and this time, I didn’t fake it, because it was the truth.
“Let me show you then how I will break them into pieces,” it said, and its aura exploded, and it was so mighty that I unconsciously took a step back.
The aura formed the bloodline phantom, before merging into its body, while I watch in terror and relief.
“Break!” it roared and a moment later; thin wisps fell out of its body, while its eyes shone in trump, while terror appeared on my face.
“See, not even your little bindings could stop me,” it said triumphantly before its eyes turned bloody and it came at me.
Its speed was so fast that I had activated the ability that made my head hurt and even then, all I could see was a blur.
It stopped in front of me and grinned, before swinging its saber to kill me.
As it did, the shock appeared on its face, before it morphed into terror, while I grinned.
“You are so, idiot. Wasting so much time playing around and talking when you should be killing the enemy,” I said, as I moved my sword forward.
While it was talking and declaring its strength, my strings spreading around it. Biding it more tightly, like they are doing now.
Deep rage appeared in its eyes, but a moment later, it calmed down.
“You will pay for what you did,” it threatened mightily and moved.
It didn’t move at me, but moved in retreat and it is moving at incredible speed, despite strings biding it.
It is a testament to its power.
Still, I am not going to let it run away.
I moved at full speed and was barely able to catch it before swinging my sword at its back, wanting to pierce through it, like I did it with many Grimms.
It sensed that and turned, moving its saber swiftly to defend.
CLANNNG!
Our swords clashed, and I shook a little before attacking it while tightening the newly wrapped strings even further.
It felt the tightening, but also saw my attack, which, if it didn’t defend, would injure it and might even kill it. It is a chance it is unwilling to take, seeing how it had moved its saber to defend.
CLANNNG
Our weapons clashed and this time, I barely shook.
Hun!
I attacked again while tightening the strings further when I noticed something and a smile appeared on its face, while the terror on its face deepened.
It tried to reach the nearby Grimms with its soul sense and immediately cut it. The strings had spread enough that I had activated the formation, which kept its soul sense contained.
There is no way I would let it ask for help.
Even when we were talking. I deployed the formation, which jumbled our speech to anyone listening through soul sense or physical senses.
Nobody will know about my strings and those who come to know die with the secret in their hearts.
“Let me go, filthy native. If you force me; I will take both of us, to the hell together,” it said angrily, with resolve appearing in its eyes.
“Do whatever you want, because nothing will help you,” I said and attacked, while it gritted its teeth and harnessed the full power of its bloodline, but it wasn’t able to do much.
Though, it is not for the reason it did. It did it to burn its bloodline.
‘Stun!’ the moment it did. It opened the window for me; it was a microsecond long, but my clone was able to land it, activating the formation at the perfect time.
Puh!
The next moment vomited the blood, and the terror on its face turned into horror.
Of course, the self-destruction could be averted. Though not for long, a second later, it would be able to try again, but I am not going to give it a second.
This backlash had made it extremely weak for a fraction of a second, and I am going to use that.
I also realized what I was going to do and started to retreat, but it was already too late for it.
Puch!
My sword moved and pierced through its skin. There was a bit of resistance, but it blasted through them before reaching its heart and pouring a massive amount of energy.
A moment later, I was surprised, and another load of energy entered its heart and started to crush its defenses.
It had been quite a long since I needed to give a double dose to the Grimm, but this bastard was powerful enough, that I had to do it.
The energies crushed his defenses within a second and I used the full power of my core, to pull it inside.
The moment it entered my core; the relief flooded in my heart.
I had not thought I would be able to kill it, but I did. Thanks to its utter idiocy and once again promised myself that I wouldn’t act like it ever did on the battlefield.
I would do everything I could to kill the energy as quickly as possible.
