Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer - #2086 - 2086 Talk with Dean and Dove
Sam knew this will rattle Christos.
With how chaotic the whole Olympian region has become, this is the last thing that Christos wishes right now. This is also what will make him the most paranoid. Now he couldn’t help but suspect that something is wrong with his crew.
Looking at Christos’ expression and how Sam spoke, Stone caught on to what he was implying.
When Sam was leaving, he looked at Christos and asked.
“Do you really think, I will be so oblivious to everything you cook up? I have managed to deal with tens of students in the Zeus Academy and always caught at the time where they can be easily dealt with. What do you think made it possible?”
With that Stone also walked out after Sam.
The news of this new battle spread out like a wild fire. The most effected one is White and his reputation took a big hit.
The last attack Sam dealt him was way too much. He was only expecting a normal energy explosion, he didn’t expect such a clever trick being played right on his face.
He had never seen anything like that.
He is infuriated and by the time rumors were spread to him, he was in the healing hall of the Zeus Academy and destroyed everything within his room. Vidyuth is only visitor and he had to witness his outburst.
“I wanted to ask how you are feeling, but I guess that is pretty apparent with the state of your room.”
Vidyuth said as he picked up a chair and sat in it. White sat at the edge of his bed. He still had his mask. Even the healers weren’t able to take it off his face for some reason and they noticed that is the only part that wasn’t effected by the explosions.
So, they left it on his face.
“That is some durable mask”
Vidyuth muttered.
White glared at him. He is currently panting heavily. Out of exasperation towards his current state.
“Who is that guy? Is there any information about him?” White asked.
“No. None whatsoever. I heard Noble league was trying hard to find out about him and when the news spread to the seniors who are in charge of investigating the flaming skulls, they got on it too. Everyone is searching for the mysterious man, who beat your ass.”
White didn’t respond to the taunt. Instead he closed his eyes and thought back to the fight.
“He felt… weird.”
“What do you mean, weird?”
“Its like he knew the way I fight beforehand. And it is not like he learned about it in the fight. It is like he has studied it well enough. He cannot just predict where my hits land, it is almost like he can predict the way I think.
It is like he is the key and I am the lock.”
“Not a great metaphor. But maybe he has studied your fighting style very well. Ever since Hub became popular our fights have not been that secretive. Anyone can get access to the old fight recordings if they try hard enough.
The virtual reality simulations actually work great.
Maybe, he examined you there.”
White looked at Vidyuth and asked.
“Why are you here?”
“What do you mean? I came to check in on you after you got your ass kicked.”
“We are not that close for you to show any concern. We work together at best and the only time we actually have a common perspective is when we asked dean about the special program.
What are you doing here and why do you have answer to every one of my questions?”
Vidyuth stood up and raised his hands.
“Here I was, expecting some gratitude. Sorry for caring enough to come and check on you. And I am just saying how I would have done it. Anyway, I am leaving. Don’t take too long to recover, or you will lag behind in the special program.”
After leaving Vidyuth sent a message to Sam stating that everything went perfectly.
White recovered by the evening and as he walked out of that healing hall, he subconsciously started walking towards the city gate.
The next thing he knew, he is standing inside the virtual reality room of the hub simulating his battle with this new mysterious enemy.
Sam had another great day and what made that day even better is when an announcement was made by the Deans of various academy. All the students from all the grades were asked to gather on the Academy grounds.
Sam went there and Dean Wharton took the stage.
“I am here to announce that the Pocket dimension which are put on hold are finally ready to open. This will start with the opening of the Pseudo Hell Pocket dimension that is under the joint control of the Olympian academies and some of the external territories.
The pseudo hell realm will open exactly in one week and once the winners of the freshmen tournament who are qualified to enter that dimension finish their training, the rest of the pocket dimensions will start opening.
As usual, there will be an announcement for any pocket dimension’s opening and if there are any changes in the way these dimensions operate.
Now go back and enjoy. Sam, please come to my office.”
Just from the way Wharton spoke, it is apparent that he couldn’t be less interested in this whole farce.
Sam went to the Dean’s office where along with Wharton Dove is also there.
“Hi, it has been a long time.” Dove greeted him with a smile.
“Yeah, it has been a long time. Heard you were busy.” Sam returned the greeting.
“So, Sam as you know the Pseudo hell is opening up we just wanted to give you a headsup before you go in there.”
Dean Wharton cut in the middle. Dove who was about to say something was stumped.
“Yeah, but as you might have known, I don’t really need much caution in the pseudo hell.” Sam replied with a knowing smile
Wharton nodded.
“Of course, this headsup is not about what you need to do inside, rather what you might encounter while going inside or getting out. The actions of the Olympian families and organizations that control part of this pocket dimension are kind of weird.
We also got some information that Noble league and Pearl are collaborating to deal with you and it has something to do with the Pseudo hell.
So, its better be careful.”
“Alright.”
“You can go.”
The conversation between Sam and Wharton was straight forward and it was done. Sam was about to leave when Dove spoke up in an exasperated tone.
“Dean, is that all you want to say? That he has a threat and someone is thinking about harming him? Can’t you really think of anything else? Like what measures he needs to take? What kind of enemies he might encounter.”
Wharton put up a pouty face and said.
“Why are you nagging me again? Don’t you think Sam is smart enough to ask about those things, if he wants to know?
People say, I am old. But trust me, you lag like my grandma. I can’t really tell the difference.”
Wharton grumbled, completely unsuited for his age and the position.
Dove sighed and looked at Sam.
“We need to talk.”
Both of them walked out.
“So, what do you want to talk about?”
Sam asked Dove as they took a walk the campus.
“Dean might have said the warning lightly, but you need to make sure that you are safe. You cannot trust the Noble league. I don’t know what prompted to target you, but they can stoop to any level.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they even messed with the Pocket dimension inside.
The pocket dimension is a restrictive space with only the Grade 1 student entry access. It will be difficult for you to get any help from the Academy, but the Olympian academies have all the remaining ranks under their control.”
“Its fine. I am always ready for these things. And I don’t even have to be, when I am dealing with the fellow first graders.” Sam replied.
“Of course, I know that you are leagues above. But the insides of the pseudo hell are different. It is a different experience. Its job is to simulate the hell refinement some cultivators used to go through before breaking through to the Divine plane.
I have been to the pseudo hell and I assure you the experience is unpleasant.
I don’t know why the Dean just brushed off about this.”
“Well, he is sure that I can handle it.”
“Come on, no one can be sure about it. It is such a unique experience that it cannot be compared to anything else.”
“Really? What about the real hell refinement?”
Sam asked and Dove froze in the spot.
Sam continued.
“There is a reason why dean didn’t bother me with pseudo hell thing. When you have seen the real thing, a simulation won’t scare you that much.”
