Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer - #2091 - 2091 Arrival
Sam stared in silence as that new humanoid figure spoke to his friends.
His expression was blank as he waited for that man to continue speaking.
“Of course, there is a twist in here. While you wait here, your sin will already start manifesting out and it will not just use that shitty nourishment aura. It will also use the proper hell’s corruption. And the longer you wait to finish your trial, the stronger the conjured-up sins will become at the same time your bodies will slowly accumulate hell’s corruption.
After you are finished with the trial here, you will have to go back into your body that is already full of corruption and fight the sin.
Until you fight the sin completely you will not be able to leave this place. And if you cannot fight it all off, you will be dead.”
The explanation has ended and the cloud expanded covering the whole sky. Sam and the rest couldn’t even see the spatial crack in the sky anymore. Sam couldn’t also see his friends. He kicked the ground and flew into the air.
As soon as he touched the cloud, he was once again repelled, just like what happened when he touched Watt’s body. He landed on the ground and he still had an expression of worry. But at least, now he has some information.
Even though the soul trial and the conditions are worrisome, he trusted in his friends to come out of it. As long as they are not bound by that mental trial, then all is well.
They could come back to their bodies.
As for the sin in the physical world, it doesn’t matter. Sam can help them out. Whether he could touch the sin or not is secondary, he is sure that he can help them out. One way or the other. However, it is inevitable that his mind is now clouded with anger and rage.
His body emitted killing intent with no restraint.
He looked at Pearl and the large group of people spread across the vast area.
“You…. This is your doing, isn’t it? Why?” He asked Pearl. His voice is ice cold and even with all the people that gathered around her, she felt targeted, she felt like a prey.
He walked into the close the distance and looked her in the eyes in the whole time. They are now just a few feet away.
The feeling of fear that put Pearl in daze for a moment. She shook herself awake and gritted her teeth in anger. She felt ashamed by how cowardly she acted.
“You… This was supposed to be the perfect plan. How the fuck did you escape the suspended state? Right now, your body should be hanging in the air like theirs and your soul should be in that grey cloud fighting the worst fear of your life.
How can you walk around in the Pseudo hell?”
She almost yelled at the end of last sentence. Sam didn’t answer her, instead he just repeated the question.
“Why?”
Pearl finally lost it. She kicked the ground in frustration, clenched her fists and gritted her teeth so hard, her gums bled.
“Why? YOU DARE ASK ME WHY? SINCE THE DAY YOU ARRIVED AT THE ACADEMY. YOU HAVE BEEN ON MY TAIL.
YOU ARE CONSTANTLY GOING TO AGAINST ME. YOU ARE SPOLING EVERY PLAN I MAKE. YOU CAME HERE DELIBERATELY TO MESS WITH MY PLANS.
I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THE RISING STAR OF THIS GENERATION. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE MY ERA. I WAS SUPPOSED TO LEAD THE OLYMPIANS INTO A GLORIOUS FUTURE.
BUT LOOK AT ME NOW.
IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU.
IT IS YOU WHO DID THIS.
YOU DELIBERATELY CAME HERE TO SABOTAGE MY PLANS. YOU CAME HERE TO DESTROY MY FUTURE. YOU CAME HERE TO BE MY ENEMY.
AND YOU PUSHED ME TO SUCH A DESPERATE STATE THAT I HAVE TO SACRIFICE SO MANY PAWNS THAT WANTED TO ACQUIRE. BECAUSE OF YOU I HAVE TO KILL ALL THESE TOP TEN STUDENTS ALONG WITH YOU.
IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU..”
Pearl really lost it.
Sam sighed and looked into the sky. He took a deep breath and asked while still looking at the grey cloud.
“What about White, Vidyuth? Are they not part of your team? Didn’t they support you in your stupid plan since the start?” Sam’s voice is calm and heavy.
“DO YOU THINK I WANT TO KILL THEM? IT WAS YOU. TO BE ABLE TO KILL YOU, I NEEDED TO SACRIFICE THEIR LIVES. TO GAIN THE POWER TO KILL YOU. IT IS ALL ON YOU.”
“And this huge group of people? What are they here for?”
Pearl finally calmed down a bit and spoke with a smirk.
“They are here to ensure that every one of you are killed. Do you know what happens if sins of two people overlap? They will become tangible. Usually a person’s sin can only be attacked by the person, and the sin can only attack the person that conjured it.
But once the overlap occurs, they can attack anyone in the realm and they will become stronger as well. Their powers multiply.”
“So, you brought how many….?” Sam paused and gave a glance before saying.
“Around five hundred people here just to overlap the sins and attack these people? Didn’t you hear the announcement? Once a sin is conjured, the person cannot exit the dimension unless it was culled.”
“That is for you, bloody idiot. Only for the people that are in the suspended state. All these people have to do is say that they quit and use a token, so that they could escape. Of course, they have to wait until the cloud is cleared…”
Sam shook his head a bit and said.
“You know, Pearl. Your plan really does seem perfect. You almost covered all the bases.”
“Of course, I did. But once again, it is you. You fucking bastard that came and destroyed everything. You still didn’t answer how you weren’t suspended. But it is just as well. I will beat the crap out of you and make you spill the beans.”
“Of course, that being a great flaw, there are some more things that you didn’t consider. As a person more experienced than you, let me tell you a few things.”
“What?”
“First, when you execute a trap like this, you shouldn’t waste your time talking. I might be a variable here, but that shouldn’t faze you this much to the point you are just reciting your whole plan to me.”
“What does it matter? Do you think you can kill past the five hundred people? These are the best of the best soldiers groomed by the best Olympian families. Even for you, it is impossible to escape from here. You can no longer hinder my growth.” Pearl replied.
Sam smirked at this and spoke
“On that note, let me just say the second point. Do you really think, I was doing everything that I did, just to deter you? You of all people? Do you really have such a high opinion of yourselves pearl? Let me give you a reality check…”
Sam paused and walked close to her. Just a few steps and they could grab each other throats.
“Destroying you, is this easy for me.”
*BANG* *BOOM*
Sam whipped out a handgun and shot. Not pearl though, but the person behind her. The bullet pierced the head and exploded. The cultivator fell on the ground lifeless and headless.
The bullet went past Pearl’s cheek and she could almost feel the tail wind leaving a slight cut.
Sam already put the hand gun back in his storage. She couldn’t even see what happened. She was horrified and her whole body is instantly covered in sweat.
“K…KILL HIM.”
She yelled in command. But before they could make a move, Sam yelled back.
“STOP. I AM NOT DONE SPEAKING YET.”
His voice is louder and lot more intimidating than Pearl’s and they even stopped in their tracks.
“It is not good to interrupt when people are talking Pearl. Let me tell you the last thing I wanted to say. In fact, it is a question.”
“…”
Pearl just stood there speechless.
“Do you think you can stop a grim reaper that came directly from hell to reap the life of a target with these five hundred people?”
Pearl frowned. Confusion and doubt were apparent in her eyes. The answer is obviously no. But she didn’t understand why Sam asked such a question.
“If you don’t think so, what made you think you can stop me with these five hundred people?”
*BOOM*
An explosive shockwave spread from his body throwing the people in his immediate surroundings back by a few feet. A big enough empty circle formed around him. His energy surged and a few weapons appeared in his hands.
The shadow sword in his right and the reaper resting on his left shoulder with its hilt on his left. A spear lodged itself in front of him in the ground and a whip coiled around his waist and neck like a snake.
Sam’s killing intent spread around and the opponents could almost see it visibly surrounding him.
Even though they surrounded Sam from all directions, including the air, they felt like they were the ones stuck inside this place with him.
