The Book I Wrote Became the Bible - The Book I Wrote Became the Bible chapter 18
18 – Meeting the Unbeliever
Dear Saints. Today, I would like to share a word about the Bible.
Bible. In other words, [Must read if you live on the continent].
These are the ‘words’ sent by Deus to this land.
The Bible consists of dozens of books, but broadly divided into two books, the Old Testament and the New Testament.
The Old Testament deals with the story before Deus descended to this land as a wise human god.
New Testament dealing with the story after Deus descended to this land as the body of Lord Luke, the saint.
There are 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament. It consists of a total of 66 books.
Here, the authors of the 39 books of the Old Testament are unknown. Not even one.
I can only speculate that Deus appeared in a human body.
But the authors of the New Testament are all known.
The seven apostles who wrote the seven gospels that decorate the first part of the New Testament.
And then, the letters of the apostles and the prophetic books that talk about the end times.
What is certain is that all New Testament books were written by ‘humans’.
No matter how much a book was written by a human being, it is an obvious fact that it was written according to Deus’ technology.
So this can also be said to be the word of Deus.
But a long time ago. Those who rejected this fact, heresy, appeared.
They accepted only the Old Testament as the words of Deus, and accepted the New Testament as nonsense that humans babble about.
Those were the dwarves and dark elves.
They refuted the contents of the New Testament, claiming that humans are arbitrarily interpreting and distorting the words of Deus, the only god in the world.

“Master. This is Cheryl.”
“Yeah, Sheryl, why is that?”
“I will help you take a bath.”
Ah. Bath attendant.
I have adapted to Luke’s life in most areas.
However, there are a few things I haven’t adapted to yet, and that’s bathing.
Even though I’ve lived as an aristocrat for over 10 years, I’m still not used to showing my naked body to women.
“It’s okay, Cheryl. I’ll make sure to take the bath myself, so you don’t have to help.”
Click
The doorknob started turning as if I were talking.
Then the door opened and Cheryl came into the bathroom.
“… Cheryl? Didn’t I tell you not to come in?”
“Forgive me for the rudeness, master.”
Cheryl came into the bathroom and she knelt down in front of me.
“…… My lord and my savior.”
!!!!
…… What?
State? Saver?
“…… What do you mean Cheryl?”
Momentarily, goose bumps ran through her body.
Did they find out that I am the author of [Things you should read if you live on the continent]?
Then why did you approach me as a maid?
Assassination?
I heard that there has been a recent clash between other religions and the Church of Deus. Is that what happened there?
Or are you just a follower of the Deus Church?
Did they try to approach me, whom they knew to be their savior?
If so, it makes sense to call me a savior.
“Ah, sorry, my savior. I was too hasty to tell you without explaining properly. Sorry.”
“…… Yes Cheryl. Can you explain?”
Fortunately, Cheryl didn’t show any hostility towards me.
Maybe not an assassination. Maybe Lydia sent it.
However, I couldn’t completely rule out the possibility that this was also her deceptive tactic, so I waited for her words, ready to unleash her attacks on her at any moment.
“Yes. My name is Christos Calandra 1st Branch, Ionia. I was ordered by the Scala headmaster to infiltrate the academy in order to serve the Lord.”
It’s Scala’s head teacher.
Current Christos, that is to say Lydia Hubris, who is in charge of the center of the Deus Church.
Lydia is still using the pseudonym Scala.
Io and I are the only ones who know her real name, Lydia.
By the way.
“Scala. Yes, Scala ordered it.”
“Yes, it is.”
Scala. So Lydia sent someone to take care of me?
No.
It makes no sense.
Because I sent her a letter to her before heading to her academy.
Never get involved in the academy until I give you an order.
Lydia’s Illusion ‘Gift’ has so strong synergy with religion that it twisted the world of [Deus Ex Machina] And it became no longer the world I knew.
Now that this has happened, knowledge as a possessor has become almost meaningless.
So, in order to reduce the number of variables as much as possible, I stopped Lydia from getting involved in the academy.
Of course, she will need her help in the future, so she puts the condition, ‘Until I give an order’.
So it’s strange that Lydia infiltrates someone as a maid to help me.
No matter how much Lydia is loyal to me, she is not the kind of person who would go so far as to disobey my orders.
Then…… Who are you?
“Cheryl.”
“Yes, Lord.”
“I hate lies. Tell me your true identity.”
Then, who would have a reason to approach me by deceiving himself as being sent by Lydia?
Are you really an assassin from another church?
“…… You. Aren’t you a nice guy? Was there anything suspicious about what I just said?”
Her expression, which had been laughing, hardened.
Horrible face change.
“No. There was none. If it wasn’t for me, no one would have even suspected it.”
Her appearance is not disguised as magic or artifacts. That said, this is her true face.
But there is no woman like this in my memory.
That means it’s a person who didn’t appear in [Deus Ex Machina] Or an extra character that I can’t remember….
Wait a minute. If?
“Then where did you get your doubts from?”
“Since you brought up the story of Lydia.”
From noble mtl dot com
“Lydia sister? Why is that…… Oh?”
Sheryl, who thoughtlessly asked her question, stopped her words in embarrassment.
“Yes. It was like that too. Come on.”
Io Hubris.
Lydia’s only family member and younger sister.
A fallen aristocrat from the Oriath Empire, her identity is completely hidden by Lydia.
In [Deus Ex Machina], She died several years before the start of the main story, so she never appeared in the game.
At best, a bit of a silhouette in Lydia’s flashback cutscene?
That’s why she didn’t know her appearance at all, but I guess it was Io.
Io and I are the only ones who know Lydia’s real name.
She even unconsciously called her older sister.
“… How did know. That I am Io.”
“Um…… Lydia told me.”
“No. It can’t be. I came here secretly without even telling her sister.”
No, you came without telling her sister? Unbeknownst to Lydia, who is so much in love with her younger sister?
If Lydia found out, she would be in an uproar?
“Then Lydia would be worried.”
“That’s fine. Because I left a letter for her sister. …… Maybe her sister doesn’t mind either.”
What’s probably the silence in front.
You know. She knew that even if she had left a letter, if Lydia knew the truth, she wouldn’t be alone.
I need to call Lydia quickly when her bath is over.
“Yes. Why did you come to see me without telling Lydia?”
“Answer my question first. Then I will tell you.”
“… Good. It wasn’t until you introduced yourself as Lydia’s maid that I realized your true identity.”
“…… Why is that a clue?”
“Lydia is not that kind of person. And those who would listen to Lydia’s orders would know that such an excuse would not work for me. Above all, there is no way Lydia will reveal my true identity to her men. If there are exceptions…… You have Io.”
All of Lydia’s subordinates and followers of her church became the target of Lydia’s ‘gift’ without their knowledge.
That’s why the Deus Church was able to grow at a tremendous speed, and it can be said that everyone is under Lydia’s control.
On the other hand, she shares her information with Lydia, but there is one person Lydia does not use the ‘gift’, and that is her younger brother, Io.
“… Is it. She thought it was the best excuse, but did it rather become a clue to reveal my identity?”
“This time it’s my turn. Why did you infiltrate the academy and meet me while doing that?”
Hesitantly lowering his head, Io opened his mouth.
