This Villain is Soft - Chapter 9
Only Noblemtl
Episode 9
“You’re really alive, right?”
Those were Chacha’s first words as she entered the lab late at night.
Haon, who had come face to face with the villain for the first time, swallowed dry saliva and stood up calmly.
A loose checked shirt was visible under Dr. Eunhaon’s white gown.
Chacha’s hazel eyes looked at Haon suspiciously.
“I clearly saw him lying there bleeding.”
Haon felt a sense of relief at those words. It didn’t seem like he had confirmed that her pulse had stopped.
“Well, it was dangerous.”
Ha-on, who was flustered, asked before Cha-cha could open her mouth.
“So why did you hit me in the back of the head?”
Chacha’s eyes became fierce.
“I attacked you?”
Ha-on, who was startled, put his trembling hands in his coat pockets so as not to show that he was scared.
“There’s also the shovel you swung. If we check your fingerprints, they’ll all come out, right?”
She stared at me intently and then said.
“I did say that Bunny was weird.”
I didn’t know how to react so I stayed silent, but Chacha snickered.
“If I had thought it was me who did it, I would have tied him up in the electric chair right away. What is this guy doing?”
‘Isn’t it?’
“Are you a little out of taste?”
‘I guess not.’
Haon, who was looking back at Chacha and Bani’s reactions, admitted that it was impossible to imitate ‘Eunhaon’.
To begin with, I don’t know much about ‘Eunhaon’.
I decided to implement plan B.
“That’s right. I… … .”
He clenched his fist and spoke resolutely.
“I’m addicted.”
“Crazy. Not just a little, but a lot.”
“I hurt my head!”
“Yeah, I see.”
As strange as Ha-on seemed, Cha-cha readily believed that some of his memories had disappeared.
He seemed to believe that he had been hit in the back of the head with a shovel and fell down.
‘If anyone now argues that it was not a shovel but a gunshot that he was shot with, then he is the next suspect.’
Besides, if rumors spread that ‘Eunhaon’ had amnesia and was acting strangely, the murderer might leave me alone.
Chacha, who had been quietly staring at Haon, opened her mouth.
“So when are you going to give me my necklace back?”
Haon opened his eyes wide.
“necklace?”
“I lent you my diamond necklace.”
Chacha put her hand on his waist and spoke stiffly.
“Just pretend you don’t remember and swallow it?”
Haon hesitated and stepped back as Chacha questioned him, bending down slightly to meet his eyes.
I was about to answer, saying, “I’ll look it up,” when a sudden doubt occurred to me. There was a huge number printed on the account of ‘Eunhaon’ that I opened yesterday.
‘Why did Eunhaon, who has a lot of money, borrow the necklace? Instead of buying it?’
Suddenly, a light went on in my head.
‘Huh? I know this.’
Haon recalled what a friend of the same age who shared the same lab with him had said when he was a graduate student.
“You have to be careful about asking for things just because you’re young. They’re just trying to get you to buy something.”
Ha-on, who remembered the words that he had to be strong in this situation, glared at Cha-cha bravely.
“I’ve never borrowed a necklace.”
“What if you don’t remember?”
“Then sorry!”
“… … ?”
As Chacha just blinked with a bewildered expression, Haon touched her chest.
“But I’m rich!”
“… … .”
“If there was a necklace I wanted, I would have bought it instead of borrowing it. Besides, since you have different tastes, there’s no way you’d have a necklace that I’d like.”
Haon, who blurted out Dadada, had confidence.
The clothes that filled ‘Eunhaon’s’ wardrobe and Chacha’s clothes were completely different styles.
‘Okay. I think I’ve come out pretty strong.’
I felt proud of myself for doing well as Lab Sister advised.
Chacha, who had been tilting her head, snickered and looked intently into the mad scientist’s eyes.
“Hey, Eunhaon.”
Haon quickly strained his eyes, but cold sweat ran down his back.
You’re locking eyes with a villain.
Chacha said it was funny because I couldn’t avoid or close my eyes and just kept glaring at him.
“Even if you do that with your eyes drained of blood, you’re still scared of Bunny. It won’t work on me.”
All the murderous intent, malice, and greed disappeared, and only the eyes shone brightly.
Chacha thought it was brave to say everything she wanted to say on such a topic. Even if it tastes good, Eunhaon is still Eunhaon.
“Well… … The taste of the Milky Way isn’t bad.”
She turned around and shrugged.
“That’s right. I’ve never lent you a diamond necklace.”
also!
Haon, whose tension had completely eased, clenched his fists with a proud expression.
Then I remembered the reason I had called Chacha and asked, “Ah!”
“Chacha. Did you see the person who attacked me yesterday?”
“No. I just went out because it looked like you were dead outside the glass door.”
“Who do you think attacked me?”
“There are only one truckload of candidates, how do you choose?”
Haon swallowed a sigh and opened his mouth.
“Have I said anything out of the ordinary recently?”
“Something different from usual?”
Chacha furrowed her brows and answered in an uncertain tone.
“I think I said I finally got it a few days ago.”
Haon smiled brightly and his eyes lit up.
“The number? What number?”
“I don’t know. You always keep the really important things to yourself.”
“I?”
“I said I’d tell you if it turned out fun. But judging by your condition, it looks like you can’t hear it.”
Haon shook his head with a desperate expression.
Still, it is certain that ‘Eunhaon’ figured out something important a few days ago.
I don’t know if that’s information about Juyeol’s younger brother.
“What else is there?”
“Go to Solmae. She’s the person you’ve been seeing the most recently.”
Solmae. Haon quickly entered the name into his brain.
“But there’s something I’m curious about.”
“Huh? What is it?”
Chacha’s long fingers pointed to the checked shirt inside the white gown.
“What the hell is that nonsense?”
Haon pouts and opens his gown.
“… … What’s wrong with this?”

The next afternoon. Ha-on was lying in the lab with a tired expression.
‘I’m sleepy…….’
My body felt heavy because I hadn’t slept properly for several days since the end of the war.
The more I slept, the more tired I felt, so I fixed the front door and other things during the night.
Thanks to the various parts and tools in the lab, I was able to do that much even without using magic engineering.
‘I thought I’d finally be able to sleep well now that it was a little safer.’
Haon ended up digging into ‘Awakening’ all night long.
The sun rose as I combined my knowledge with the research results of other scientists to create new hypotheses.
As expected, there was no research done solely on shaking off negative thoughts.
But before I could fix my phone, I collapsed from lack of sleep.
‘Is it a people problem rather than a place problem?’
During the war, there were always at least four or five people by my side, even when I was sleeping.
‘now…….’
He fell face down on the table, but soon got up again.
‘It’s okay. I’m going to go find the Awakening Sphere today!’
If I find it, I will be able to protect myself and I will be able to relieve myself of a lot of worries. They say that if you don’t have worries, you can sleep well.
‘Or maybe it’s because I’m still unfamiliar with the house. It’ll get better as I fill it with my stuff.’
Haon nodded with satisfaction, looking down at his newly purchased checked shirt.
I ordered a bunch of stuff I needed by courier yesterday morning, and it arrived early today.
It was not enough to live with just the clothes I was wearing and a loose short-sleeved T-shirt.
I changed everything from my underwear to my socks, and I also bought new shoes and a hat.
And as I walked to the convenience store with my hat pulled down low, I realized something surprising.
“Huh? Isn’t that Eunhaon?”
“Hey. They’re probably just look-alikes. Why is Eunhaon going to a place like a convenience store?”
“Is that so? Well, just looking at your behavior, it doesn’t seem like it.”
If I wear comfortable clothes and go to the convenience store, no one will see me as ‘Eunhaon’.
‘Won’t you be able to move around more comfortably than you thought after fixing your cell phone?’
As I was shaking my legs in anticipation, someone slammed the lab door open.
Haon shrugged his shoulders in surprise.
A skinny man in a suit walked in hunched over, his hands in his pockets.
He walked leisurely up to Haon and took out his Balisong knife.
“You charge such a high price for it and then don’t send the goods?”
Haon’s bones were chilled.
‘It’s the client… …!’
One of the documents that could not be decrypted was the request form.
How am I supposed to know who ordered what and when? I have a list of villains in my head, so I only know their faces and names.
“Check, checker.”
“Look at the f*ck.”
“that is.”
A red light came on in Ha-on’s head as he tried to stay calm. He was a violent criminal with a murder record.
“Uh, the request form is gone.”
The blade came close to my chin.
“Tell me what you ordered and I’ll bring it to you!”
Haon spoke urgently. His heart was pounding and his eyes were stinging.
There was a separate floor where commissioned items were collected.
The problem is that there are only number tags attached, so we don’t know what belongs to whom.
“I can find it for you right now, right now!”
How did ‘Eunhaon’ deal with the aggression of the villain clients?
‘There must be a weapon.’
There wasn’t a single gun in the lab, perhaps because it was in a space that couldn’t even be opened.
Lack of sleep made my mind work slowly like an unoiled machine. I couldn’t think of a way out of this situation.
“This is acting weird today.”
Haon, who felt a tingling sensation under his chin along with the muttering of the checker, closed his eyes tightly and waved his hand.
“Eww!”
Phew!
Phew─.
“… … ?”
I slowly opened my eyes as if I had heard a strange sound.
