World Domination through Planet Development - Chapter 27
Only Noblemtl
Episode 27. Founders of large IT companies
Jungwoo came up to the surface via the warp device.
“Wow. This is amazing every time I pass by.”
It’s as if the door is open and you can see right across.
I don’t even feel anything as I pass by.
A convenient device that allows you to cross hundreds of kilometers in one step.
But why am I the only one using it?
Well… I’m barely able to make and use this because it uses up a lot of my personal productivity.
It’s not the same reason because it’s a little old.
Anyway, Mr. Kim Cheol-ryeong promised to join our world conquest club.
To be honest, I thought that even if he made a promise and left, he might change his mind, but I have to say he was quite enthusiastic.
Rather, it is more embarrassing that they are showing this much enthusiasm.
“But is it okay to do that?”
Jungwoo asked with a slightly worried expression.
[It doesn’t matter either way.]
The problem was what Mr. Kim Cheol-ryeong suggested.
The idea is to wipe out all active generals at once, along with Kim Jong-dong.
However, there are about 1,500 adults.
I said I understood at the time and left, but thinking about it now, I wonder if that was right… .
[It will definitely help to establish Mr. Kim Cheol-ryeong as the top leader. It is a good plan to prevent the rebellion early.]
“No. That’s a question of whether to kill them beforehand or later. Isn’t it a case of imitation?”
The original plan was to immediately send androids to arrest them on suspicion of rebellion if they plotted a rebellion.
Whether or not they are executed later, they will be arrested immediately if they plot.
This in itself is not that difficult.
It is entirely possible, with passages already laid throughout key areas of North Korea and an estimated million androids deployed there.
So, is it really right to kill so many people first?
[You can change your mind at any time if you wish.]
“No, that’s fine. I already told Mr. Kim Chul-ryung that I knew, so I’ll have to believe him. And it doesn’t make sense to try to think about the situation in North Korea based on my own standards. Wouldn’t the advice of someone who has lived there his whole life be more trustworthy?”
These are not just the words of someone who has just lived, but rather someone who was a lieutenant in the Ministry of State Security.
North Korea is a place where things that would only happen during our country’s military dictatorship still happen.
And there is no one among the North Korean military generals who has not been directly or indirectly involved in the situation.
So, by my standards, they are the same as people who would have no regrets even if they died.
If it was a problem that needed to be considered from a moral perspective in the first place, someone like Kim Cheol-ryeong should not have been put forward as a representative.
He seems like a warm man who only thinks about his family, but he is also an extremely cruel and ruthless person.
I didn’t necessarily hear it exactly, but that’s what Sarah said.
* * *
Several people are sitting in a high-end Korean restaurant in the form of a room.
“Hey, what’s going on? I’ve seen it all here.”
“You should try something like this sometimes. Don’t you ever get tired of going to Chinese restaurants all the time?”
“No, why? There are so many expensive and delicious menus in Chinese restaurants.”
These two seem like they are like brothers.
At the same time, these people who showed off their ability to live without much were surprisingly the IT giants of South Korea.
They were the founders of Cocoa, Namer, and Copan.
“Did you all see that?”
“what?”
“That’s Sarah AI. That’s amazing. I’m thinking of quitting the AI business because of that.”
Hyung-joo Kim, the founder of Cocoa, did not respond to that statement.
The founder of Namer, who was looking at him like that, asked.
“I heard you moved into Cocoa?”
Kim Hyung-joo reluctantly opened his mouth to answer that question.
“I thought you received investment this time. Nanosoft officials came and went.”
I was wondering when this question would come up.
In fact, until recently, he didn’t even know that Sarah AI was housed in the Cocoa building.
If that were the case, it should have been reported a long time ago, but I really don’t like the way my employees work these days.
The fact that Nanosoft officials came and went is something I only found out about now, and the fact that they received investment is purely a guess.
However, considering that he had not met with any external companies since the meeting with Nanosoft, it was not entirely unfounded.
“Oh, really? When?”
Use it.
Kim Hyung-joo narrowed his eyebrows and searched his memories.
“That was probably when Sarah AI first came out? It must have only been a few days.”
“Wow. Silicon Valley is really fast. They have an incredible sense of smell when it comes to money. The capitalist capitalist center can’t keep up.”
An exclamation that comes out naturally.
Sarah AI grew rapidly in just a few days, but Nanosoft’s investment success was already well before that.
That means they started planning it almost from the day it was released.
I’ve heard that Sarah AI has been rumored before its release, but its determination is extraordinary.
The reason the world has a hard time catching up with the United States isn’t just because of differences in resources, land, and population.
“So, your face is red?”
Kim Hyung-joo shook his head at the founder of Namer’s subsequent questions.
How could that be?
“I found out this time too.”
“Call here once.”
Seok-Beom Kim, the founder of Copan, made a subtle suggestion.
Currently, the three people here are the mainstays of these meetings, but there are quite a few IT representatives who attend official meetings.
A large number of IT industry leaders, including those in second-hand trading, delivery, real estate applications, and even gaming companies, have joined the movement.
On the surface, the purpose of these gatherings is for socializing, and in reality, that is true, but there is a separate public purpose.
It is to prevent political control over the IT industry.
If it was just a simple friendship, there was no need for it to be called on this scale.
It just turned out like this because the power was being called for a hidden purpose.
Even while maintaining this strength, the eyes of the political and business world are extremely harsh.
Perhaps a complaint about them forming a group on their own without getting involved in the water they are playing in?
Isn’t there such a thing as solidarity among entrenched political and business figures?
I am talking about the conglomerates and political powers that have been passed down through generations based on manufacturing.
To prepare for that, the larger the force, the better.
“Well, I was thinking about it too, but isn’t it a bit strange to call you now?”
Doesn’t it seem a little too obvious to approach it now?
“Just say something. You have to lose to win.”
“Yeah. What do we have to show for our regrets?”
Now that I hear it, that’s true.
Rather, as a new IT company, they may be more interested in forming a relationship with us.
“Yeah, well. I have some business to attend to there anyway, so I’ll ask if I can meet with you then.”
* * *
Jungwoo was a little embarrassed when he heard in advance that the Cocoa representative might come, but he didn’t exactly refuse.
First of all, aren’t you renting the Cocoa office?
Even if I have to vacate the room sooner or later.
Above all, it was somewhat effective that it wasn’t a formal meeting and was simply a request to have a cup of coffee in the lounge.
Kim Hyung-joo, the founder of Cocoa, whom I met alone, gave off a rather gentle impression.
“Nice to meet you.”
“Oh, yes. Hello.”
They exchanged brief greetings.
“First of all, Sarah AI is really well written. Congratulations on the successful launch.”
Kim Hyung-joo was the first to offer his congratulations.
“Thank you. That… I also use CocoaTalk well.”
“Haha. I see.”
They started talking to each other with a clumsy thank you from Jeong-woo.
“Are you moving into our Cocoa office?”
“Yes, but I think we’ll be going out this time.”
Kim Hyung-joo nods.
“I heard about it anyway. I wish I had come to see you sooner.”
“Yes, no, what… .”
No, we would have gone out anyway.
Still, it was very useful.
That’s because in the very early stages of the service, the Asian server held up pretty well.
“Actually, the reason I asked to meet you in person today was to see if you would be interested in attending our meeting next week.”
“If it’s a meeting…?”
Jungwoo showed off his acting skills that he had honed over time and showed off his skill of pretending not to know.
“It’s a small gathering of people who run IT companies.”
“Ah… Well then, even though it’s a small gathering, there will be some amazing people there.”
“Well, you could say that. Haha.”
Jungwoo pretended to be troubled.
“I appreciate the offer, but I feel like it would be a bit burdensome for me to attend such a place already. Of course, it’s not that I absolutely hate it.”
“No. You may think so. I wonder if I made the request too suddenly.”
The atmosphere became a little awkward due to Jungwoo’s rejection.
“I hope I will have the opportunity to attend later when I have settled in sufficiently.”
“Of course. Of course, that’s fine. Please contact me later.”
The conversation that followed was uneventful.
Technical discussion on Sarah AI.
Of course, most of it was said to be confidential business information and the conversation was conducted with Sarah’s help, but the conversation went smoothly anyway.
The biggest source of income comes from office contracts.
He said he would do his best to process it quickly and get it out.
I guess the fastest way to reach an agreement on this is through direct contact.
Actually, making connections with them now and seeing the benefits is a pretty good option, but it’s not necessarily the case in the long run.
Because later on, I might take over their market, and how embarrassing it would be if the person involved were a member of the same group.
It’s not confirmed, but it’s quite likely that it will happen.
That’s why I refused.
Even if that doesn’t work out, it wouldn’t be a problem if we became close then.
* * *
Chairman Jang’s office.
Kang Bae-deok stood at attention with his stiff neck, which looked like it would never go down, bowed deeply.
“So? You said it’s not possible?”
“Yeah… that might be a bit difficult.”
When Chairman Jang asked with a displeased look, Kang Bae-deok answered.
“Didn’t you say we were friends?”
It was a rebuke to this investment.
“Yes, that’s right.”
“Are you a friend? You can’t even do that kind of favor? It’s not like I’m not going to give you money.”
“… … .”
Chairman Jang clicked his tongue as he watched Kang Bae-deok unable to open his mouth.
“I was stupid to trust you. Okay. Get out.”
“Yes, sir.”
Kang Bae-deok, bending at a 90-degree angle, left the office at a quick pace.
Chairman Jang Woo-seon’s brow furrowed.
Chairman Jang Woo-sun of Daehyun Group’s control is not actually perfect.
It seemed like they were looking for a breakthrough to cover up public opinion about the recent worsening of Daehyun Group’s management, but things have come to this point.
Who would have thought that it would come back as karma from the past?
Because of this, rather than the mood turning around, I ended up looking embarrassed, so my pride was hurt.
Chairman Jang Woo-seon did not obtain everything he wanted throughout his life.
But he has never given anything to anyone that he did not have.
How dare a guy like me ignore me?
There is a need to teach a child who is ignorant of the ways of the world what kind of place South Korean society is.
Chairman Jang picked up the phone.
“Connect me to President Woo.”
-Okay, Chairman.
